We stock thousands of Welsh books, including new titles and books we can order in specially. To keep things simple, items on our website are either available to add to your basket now, or offered as pre-orders. Here’s what that means.
What does “Add to cart” mean?
If a book shows “Add to cart”, it means it is in stock in our shop and ready to send.
We usually dispatch in-stock orders within 1–2 working days.
What does “Pre-order” mean?
If a book is marked “Pre-order”, it means one of two things:

the book has been announced but has not yet been published, or
-
the book is temporarily out of stock and we will order it in especially for you from our supplier.

In both cases, you can place your order as normal, and we will send the book to you as soon as it arrives with us.
Where possible, we include an expected publication date or restock information on the product page.
How long will my order take?
This depends on what your order contains:

In-stock books (“Add to cart”)

Pre-order books
dispatched as soon as they are published or delivered to us from our supplier

Because Welsh publishing often involves small, independent publishers, timings can vary. We always aim to get books to you as quickly as possible.
What if my order contains both in-stock books and pre-orders?
If your order includes a pre-order, we normally send the whole order together once everything is ready.
If you would prefer your in-stock books to be sent sooner, just contact us and we’ll do our best to help.
Will I be kept informed?

If there are any significant delays with a pre-order, we will always let you know.
What if a publication date or delivery estimate changes?
Sometimes publication dates or supplier deliveries change, especially with small and independent publishers.
