Mari Lovgreen is originally from Caernarfon but now lives in Llanerfyl in Powys. She is a well-known television presenter and has worked on programmes such as Uned 5, Noson Lawen and Cefn Gwlad. She published her first book, Llanast, in 2015, and her second book, Brên Babi, in 2017. Llyfr Sgrap Macs Siôn has been shortlisted for the Tir na n-Og Prize (Primary Category) for 2026.
