Rhian Cadwaladr has worked as an actress for over thirty years in theatre, radio, and television. From 2005 to 2016, she was a drama tutor and coordinator of SBARC!, a youth arts project at Galeri Caernarfon. During that time, she wrote seven original scripts for productions featuring casts of 75–85 young people each.

She also served on the writing panel for the Welsh soap opera Pobol y Cwm before stepping down due to other work commitments.

Rhian now works freelance across a variety of creative fields, including as an agent and creative practitioner for the Leading Creative Schools scheme, a facilitator for young promoters with Noson Allan, and as an actress and occasional workshop designer at the National Slate Museum. She has also tutored creative writing at Tŷ Newydd Writing Centre.

She wrote the radio drama Malachai, which was broadcast on BBC Radio Cymru in 2004.

Rhian has previously published the novels Fi sy’n Cael y Ci, Môr a Mynydd, Plethu, Dathlu, and Gwaddol, as well as the Ynyr yr Ysbryd children's books and the cookbooks Casa Cadwaladr, Casa Dolig, and Casa’r Haf.
