Jon Gower is a prolific writer in Welsh and English and a broadcaster in both languages. He is a natural communicator with his audience.

He won the Book of the Year award in 2012 with the novel The Storyteller. He is a playwright and was an Arts and Media correspondent for the BBC for many years and a producer of a number of Welsh and English programs for television and radio. He is also a tutor on a creative writing course at Swansea University.

He is originally from Llanelli but has been living in Cardiff for years now with his wife and two daughters.
