This is Myfanwy Alexander’s seventh novel, following A Oes Heddwas (July 2015), Pwnc Llosg (April 2016), Y Plygain Olaf (November 2017), Mynd fel Bom (December 2019), Coblyn o Sioe (July 2023), and Cath Fenthyg (2025). A Oes Heddwas has now been translated into English under the title *Bloody Eisteddfod*, and Pwnc Llosg has been translated under the title *Burning Issue*. A Oes Heddwas was adapted into a radio drama last summer in Welsh on Radio Cymru and in English on Radio 4, and both versions received an excellent reception.
