Gwenallt Llwyd Ifan comes from Tregaron, and he returned to Ceredigion after a period living in the north and settling in Tal-y-bont. He won the Chair at the National Eisteddfod of Anglesey in 1999 and several other chairs at local eisteddfodau over the years. He is a member of Tal-y-bont’s team on the programme Y Talwrn and is also a renowned fisherman!
