He is an original member of Hergest, formed in 1971, he was part of Nia Ben Aur's original historical production at the Carmarthen National Eisteddfod in 1974, and after those days turned his career into a successful author having published several books.

Lending a helping hand on this CD are his old friends from the days of Hergest, namely Geraint Davies, Delwyn Siôn and Derec Brown and several others such as Charli Britton, Caryl Parry Jones, Graham Pritchard, Myfyr Isaac and Rhys Taylor.
