Few people know that Aneirin Karadog was born in Llanrwst, the town hosting 2019’s Eisteddfod, before the family moved to Pontardawe. However, he has now settled in Pontyberem with his young family, although the family moved to Brittany for a period in 2018–19. He is a former Children’s Poet Laureate of Wales and was the Chief Bard of the National Eisteddfod in Abergavenny in 2016. This is the third volume of poetry for adults that Aneirin has published with Barddas Publications. From Annwn to Celtia was published in 2012 and Bylchau in 2016, both volumes winning him the Poetry Category Award of Wales Book of the Year in 2013 and again in 2017.
