Shinani'n Siarad (The Vagina Monologues in Welsh)

When it was first written in 1996, Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues was welcomed as one of the most daring and impactful dramas in decades. Based on a series of interviews with a number of women, this collection of soliloquies - at turns funny, sensuous, frightening or heartbreaking - is a celebration of female sexuality as well as being a feminist blow against violence.

The drama was translated into Welsh as Shinani'n Siarad by Sharon Morgan with Eve's blessing and first staged in 2004, before being taken on a tour around Wales; but only now, twenty years later, is it being published at last.
