    From the sea to Bala.

The Holy Dee is a book that takes you from the mouth of the river Dee along it's length to it's source at Bala (or beyond?). Describing the different areas it flows through, it's interaction with people over the years and it's varied wildlife. There are vivid descriptions of what it is like today along with it's history and the many changes that have occurred along it's banks over the centuries. Well worth reading for those people who don't know the river and for those who know it well.
