Who was the artist Isabel del Mar? Cat, her daughter, travels from Cardiff to Andalucía to try and understand her mother's past and their difficult relationship. She also tries to cope with her uncle and aunt's hostility towards her. As family secrets unravel, Cat is forced to reconsider her mother's artwork as well as her own nature in this sensual and impressionistic fictional debut.
