We follow the story of Dr Heledd Owen, a lecturer in Welsh as she moves into the University she works for's new site, a remote skyscraper that keeps dark secrets. The novel shows how society can fall apart over time, without being noticed or questioned.

It is an eerie novel, which guides the reader from the familiar to the absurd, without changing tone. This is Rebecca Thomas' debut novel for adults.
