Breuddwyd Syr Ifan

This book is based on a collection of papers written between 1930 and 1953 by Syr Ifan and some of yr Urdd's Central Staff to a gentleman from Llanuwchllyn who was responsible for the practical aspects of establishing yr Urdd's early camps at Llanuwchllyn, Llangollen, Porthdinllaen, Cricieth and Pantyfedwen, and for overseeing the work of getting Glanllyn in order.  He was the author's father, Morris ap Morris Jones, Y Werddon, Llanuwchllyn - Ap Morris or Ap Jones or simply 'Ap' to those who knew him.  Syr Ifan relied on him greatly to bring his dream to reality.

The letters are a unique record of Syr Ifan's ideas, thoughts and ideals as he developed his national movement and a reflection of the thoroughness and detail of his organisation and his unerring determination to see his plans come to fruition.

A varied selection of images are included from the collections of families and supporters, yr Urdd's early publications and Glanllyn Camp's archive.
