Message from the author: My son was six years old when the doctors noticed I had a 'lump’. I searched for help to try and explain things to him, but I couldn't find anything that helped. I've created this book to fill that gap, and to help other parents who are facing situations that are just as difficult. The poem, with accompanying illustrations, is aimed at children between 4 and 8 years old, should be read together as a supportive way to start to discuss things. I have also included some of my experiences.
